The exhibition represents the culmination of a year-long project exploring the life of Vivien Haigh-Wood Eliot. Bringing together visual and written archival sources held at Bruce Castle Museum and Hackney Archives, Donna Fitzgerald reflects on some of the ways in which she has used Vivien's story to explore wider questions around medical heritage, community memories and mental health stories, and the the place and role of the archive.
11th May 2023 - EXHIBITION TALK WITH PERFORMANCE.
Donna Fitzgerald returns to the Archives with a new talk exploring the relationship between heritage, arts, and mental health.
Excerpts from the script 'Vivienne Sometimes' will be performed by Rosanna Lowe ('Vivien').
The talk and performance will be followed by a Q&A session.
More images will follow.
